Manor Solomon, who was expected to serve as Son's assistant and backup, is rarely able to play. According to manager Anji Postecoglou, Solomon will also undergo knee surgery and return will be delayed.

Begründung

Solomon joined Tottenham Hotspur ahead of the upcoming season. Having played on loan at Fulham until last season as a member of Shakhtar Donetsk, Solomon became a free agent after last season, and Tottenham, seeking a second-term player, recruited Solomon.
In the beginning, it seemed like a successful recruitment. As Son changed his position from left winger to striker, Solomon also had a chance. Solomon played an active role in the match against Burnley in the fourth round of the Premier League. Manager Anji Postecoglou replaced Hishalisson with the starting lineup, and Solomon played in the starting lineup.
On the day, Solomon had two assists by dribbling, his strength. Both assists were passes to Son. Son scored a hat-trick in the match against Burnley by scoring chances created by Solomon and other teammates, becoming the best player in the game. Starting with his performance against Burnley, Solomon continued to receive opportunities through replacement.
His flow was interrupted by injury. Last October, Solomon injured in the meniscus while training, and was immediately put on an operating table. Contrary to concerns that this could lead to long-term injuries, Solomon returned to team training in three months. Thinking that Son Heung-min would be away from the team to participate in the 2023 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup, Tottenham welcomed Solomon's return.
However, he failed to return to the team in time for his expected return. He suffered another injury while preparing to return. Alessdair Gold, a member of Football London and Tottenham reporter, reported last month that Solomon's return was delayed due to a setback in the recovery process.
Solomon is said to have undergone surgery. During a press conference ahead of the Brighton and Hove Albion match, Postecoglou responded to a question about Solomon's injury. "Solomon had another surgery Monday because of a knee injury," Postecoglou said, adding that Solomon had surgery.
"It's not a big problem, and it's expected to take another two to three weeks to return," he said, adding that he would see Solomon again around March.
It's a relief that it's not a big problem, but it's a concern that Son Heung-min's physical strength is depleted as Solomon's return is delayed. Currently, Son Heung-min is running out of physical strength after returning from the Asian Cup. Son Heung-min started all six games that South Korea played in the Asian Cup and played full time, but he was under considerable physical pressure because he played extra time in two of the six games. 토토사이트
Also, Son Heung-min is expected to play against Brighton shortly after joining Tottenham. If this situation is repeated, no matter how hard Son Heung-min is physically. This is why attention is being paid to the timing of a player who can serve as a backup like Solomon.
Fortunately, other players are in good health. Tottenham may choose to replace Solomon with Timo Werner or Brennan Johnson as its backup.
