Dear supporters of our petition for a new high school in Frankfurt West,
today we reached another important milestone, 1500 signatures!
Thanks again for your great support! Keep up the great work. Our aim is to get 1600 signatures from Frankfurt before the end of June. So, if you haven't already done so, please tell others, forward the link to the petition, hang up the flyer attached in your children's Kindergarten, school, Kita or in other prominent places likely to attract attention.
As you may have read in the press over 300 children couldn't get a place in the Gymnasium (high school) they applied for this year. The only way to change this is to increase the number of high schools in Frankfurt and distibute them in such a way that entire areas like the west of Frankfurt are no longer deprived of choice and forced to travel long distances to the next high school, whereas other areas, like Westend, Sachsenhausen, Nordend, are spoilt for choice.
This is grossly unfair and we need to change this.
