International students have as much a right to access education as students from Germany. Making them pay additional fees (when travelling to Germany is already far more expensive) is hardly fair.
It's a clear discrimination between students. We are coming here for studies. We are also contributing in the society. So we should have same rights as them.
We are already coming with a blocked account. That's already too much stress. To pay tuition we have to work even more hours which affects our grades and mental being. Instead of doing internships (gain experience) we end up doing odd jobs to get by and raise the money.
Abolishing tuition fees for international, non-EU students would place further burden on taxpayers, while providing limited benefits as many students do not plan on staying in Germany or EU and would not pay back the costs of their education.
