The ban on barbequeing (Grillverbot) in the entire Theoretikum has been in place now for more than 5 years. We demand a small patch of grass within Theoretikum where outdoor social gatherings including barbeques are permitted, of course with the appropriate approval of security. Sign if you agree!
Begründung
There seems to be a complete intolerance of outdoor social gatherings in Neuenheimer Feld, especially in Theoretikum, where all forms of barbeque haven been forbidden for safety reasons since April 2014. The official "Grillplatz" next to INF292 with its fireplace, seating and grassy surrounds would seem perfect for your PhD celebrations or departmental Summer party but cannot be used due to the nearby URZ containers which appear to have become a permanent fixture. Meanwhile containers, temporary fences and outdoor storage for construction work in Theoretikum are occupying space but appear to be disused. What a joke! We have waited long enough. Its time to fight for your rights to party!
