Petition richtet sich an: owner of the building

The copy shop Trigger Copy in Kreuzberg, Berlin, Germany is facing an increase of the rent which is tenfold and legally valid. Because this is a business, the usual restrictions on increase of rent for private apartments don't apply, which are part of German law. Trigger Copy is more than just a copy shop - in this multicultural neighborhood where mostly immigrants and university students live, Trigger Copy gives important infrastructure for political campaigns, possibilities of posting neighborhood notices and information about human rights violations and companies that systematically break the law. Many helpful and constructive political campaigns have their origin in Kreuzberg, some of them effecting changes in European law that have saved human lives, and Trigger Copy is one of the places that has made this possible.

We would like to send a peaceful delegation to the owner of the building in order to negotiate the rental contract and price.
